Default What do I need to broadcast good quality

I was transmitting from my smart phone but the quality in unstable even on good quality wifi. I acquire a Panasonic HV-v100 camera full HD. After I installed Livestream for producers in my PC to broadcast through av to USB cable the quality was very poor. I was thinking in buying a video capture card, but I would like some feedback or guidance because I don't really know much. Thanks for any contribution.

Hi BlessedbyGod7,

You can see a list of our recommended capture devices here: http://help.livestream.com/customer/...ream-producer-

However, the ability to stream in HD also comes down your computer's processing power. We recommend having the following minimum specifications:

Quad Core CPU
4GB RAM
1500Kbps upload bandwidth (check this by visiting www.speedtest.net)
Dedicated video card, 512MB VRAM
Windows Vista / Windows 7/ Windows 8
Mac OS X 10.6 or higher

Default What about Wifi enabled Cameras?

For instance, Most Panasonic cameras have Wifi built into them. They can, by default, connect to a Panasonic Ap (Android anyway). Would there be a way to connect to these without a Broadcaster box. Seems Broadcaster-Mini adds to complications and if there is a local stream it could go to stream without a Capture box.

Hi Landisa,

At this time, there is no way to connect your camera to the Livestream platform via internal wifi because the signal needs to pass through an encoder like the Broadcaster Mini or the Livestream Producer/Procaster software.

You need to connect your camera to the Broadcaster or to Livestream software via an approved capture device, like one of these: http://help.livestream.com/customer/...ream-producer-
