Post Equipment Management

I stream high school sports for a public school district, so I have a mobile "Broadcast Rig" consisting of a laptop, tripod, camera, wireless hotspot, and cables. I carry a ton of extra cables and adapters and whatnot because I want to be prepared for any situation we may find ourselves in at an unfamiliar sports venue.

I am looking for the best way to manage and protect all of this equipment so I can transport it from place to place and keep everything organized. Currently I'm using a small rolling overnight suitcase, but it doesn't offer a ton of protection, and our equipment is getting a bit banged up.

I'd love to hear how those of you in similar situations handle equipment management.

Hi WTRickman,

Our production team uses, and we recommend, Pelican cases: http://www.pelican.com/

They've generally been very reliable, and our production team and some of more mobile users have used them to great effect.

Default interested in what you use

Hello, Rick, hope you got the answer you were looking for.
I do the video for a High School in Southern Cal and am looking at doing our 2015 season live. Would be very interested in talking to you about the equipment you use.
